The Manhood Mindset founder wishes to achieve goals that includes succeeding as an educational consultant, professor, radio personality, talk show host, author, public speaker, and community advocate. Dr. Pugh is preparing to finish his first book in 2020 and develop strategies for students who are facing barriers within school systems. He is a public speaker and entertainer that emphasizes the importance of self-worth and purpose while making an impact in every situation life gives us.

My Expertise
Dr. Christopher Pugh is a graduate of the Ed.D. Curriculum Studies program at Georgia Southern University. He was born and raised in Atlanta, GA and attended school in Dekalb County where he graduated from Cedar Grove HighSchool. In 2006, Dr. Pugh graduated from Georgia Southern University with a degree in Broadcasting and Production. Later on he also obtained his Master’s in Counselor Education in 2008. During his time at Georgia Southern, Dr. Pugh served as the Assistant Director of the Multicultural Student Center from 2008 to 2015 while being the coordinator and adviser to the Minority Advisement Program, Student African American Brotherhood, and the Pathways to Success program. In addition, he also served as adviser for over 8 collegiate student organizations.

He offers practical skills and programs that help examine the nature and function of culture, develop effective individual and group cross-cultural communication skills, clarify definitions and implications of professional consistency, and recognize the influences of culture on learning, development, and risk management.
